Photographer Jason Hummel came to Whistler Blackcomb to compete in the 2014 Deep Winter Photo Challenge. His slideshow, Side by Side, came 3rd and the girls danced in celebration – featuring Casey Lucas, Suz Graham, Liz Daley and myself.

The Guide Like Liz Scholarship is an annual tuition award good toward AAI courses in amounts up to $2500. The application is open to women over the age of 18 who would like to work in the mountains. The scholarship program was inspired and designed to honour the guiding career of Liz Daley, whose life was taken far too early in an avalanche in Patagonia on September 29, 2014.
